# Mint Fees

**Alusta is built on top of Zora protocol and its using Zora´s creator contracts**. 

[**Zora**](https://docs.zora.co) charges a flat fee to collectors who mint an NFT created using Zora´s smart contracts. 

This fee is same on all **Alusta** mints and will be clearly displayed to collectors before the confirmation of the mint.

The minting fee is **0.000777 ETH (\~$1.40) per NFT minted.**

This fee will be split with Creator, First minter, Alusta, and Zora based on [Protocol Rewards](https://alusta.gitbook.io/knowledge-base/alusta-faqs/protocol-rewards).
